Understanding the Green Electric Badge

The ZEV badge is designed to be an easy visual cue for electric vehicles. It must always be placed on the left side of the number plate and is strictly green to signify zero emissions. It typically replaces any blue or clear badges and can still allow for the national flags to be present. This badge is only permitted on vehicles that produce no emissions, so you’ll most likely see them on electric vehicles.

You have two options when it comes to the ZEV badge: it can be printed directly onto your number plate or applied as a 3D gel badge for a more premium look, similar to the 3D gel letters. If you’ve seen our plates before, you might be familiar with our Iconic Range; however, the ZEV badge isn’t compatible with this range. If you’d like to know more, be sure to check out the details on our Iconic Range.
